About Me

My name is Isabelle and I am a certified French native tutor with more than 20 years experience teaching French to non-native speakers. I was born in a town near Lyon and studied at the University of Grenoble. As I have always been drawn to foreign cultures, I decided to move to the UK where I pursued my studies and then taught French for 5 years. After having lived and worked in England, I decided to move to Paris to create French In Paris.
My belief is that private tutoring, tailored to the needs of each individual student, is vital to language acquisition and broader cultural immersion. This is why each and every lesson is entirely tailor-made.
I have had the priviledge of working with people from all over the world including engineers, business professionals,  expats, professors, artists, researchers, students, diplomats, and retirees. My clients are either managing their own firms or working for companies such as Accenture, Hilton, HSBC, Philip Morris, Hugues Hubbard & Reed LLP, Morgan McKinley, Danone, Areva, or for institutions such as the British Embassy, the American Embassy and the Australian Embassy in Paris as well as Harvard, Princeton and Oxford Universities.
